Owners and admins change these in Settings → Reviews. Members can view them. Each setting applies to every repository in the workspace; a repository’s otto.yml can override most of them for that repository.

Automatic PR reviews

Turns Otto’s automatic pull request reviews on or off for the whole workspace. Turning it off pauses automatic reviews without removing members, integrations, or other automation. To turn reviews off for a single repository instead, set reviews.enabled: false in its otto.yml.

Review depth

The default depth for every review: Standard, Deep (the default for new workspaces), or Max. Changes apply to the next review. See Review depth for how otto.yml raises or lowers it per path.

Review instructions

Up to 4,000 characters of guidance Otto follows on every review in the workspace: areas to focus on, conventions to enforce, or things to skip. For example:
For a single repository, its otto.yml instructions and then its OTTO.md take precedence. See Instructions.

Review comments (GitHub)

How Otto posts its review summary on GitHub pull requests: Azure Repos always posts a new summary thread on every review.

Otto Approval check (GitHub)

A merge gate that passes when Otto or a human with write access approves the latest commit. Off by default. See Merge gates before turning it on.
